Busser/Food Runner Full Time

A Busser / Food Runner plays a crucial role in a restaurant by ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests. This position involves assisting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food is delivered promptly and correctly.

Responsibilities:

✅ Clearing and Resetting Tables – Remove used plates, glasses, and utensils while ensuring tables are clean and properly set for the next guests.
✅ Food Running – Deliver food from the kitchen to the guests quickly and accurately, ensuring correct presentation and special requests are met.
✅ Guest Assistance – Provide water, refills, and additional tableware as needed, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
✅ Maintaining Cleanliness – Keep the dining area, service stations, and workspaces tidy and well-stocked with necessary items.
✅ Supporting Servers – Assist in carrying large trays, refilling beverages, and communicating guest requests to the kitchen or waitstaff.
✅ Collaboration with Kitchen & Front of House Staff – Work efficiently with chefs, servers, and management to maintain smooth service.

Qualifications & Skills:

1 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
2 Strong teamwork and communication skills.
3 Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
4 Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift trays throughout the shift.
5 Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not always required.

Work Environment & Compensation:

• This role is typically in high-energy, fast-paced restaurants, including fine dining establishments.
• Compensation often includes base pay plus tips, with wages varying based on location and restaurant type.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is usually required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
