Job Type: Full Time Onsite Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:15PM)

Job Description: BRAVO is seeking an experienced Project Accountant who will enjoy working in a quick-paced, dynamic environment. This position is part of the Finance & Accounting team and will work closely with project management team members. The candidate we are seeking must be a diligent self-starter, highly organized, an excellent communicator, and detail-oriented. The candidate will be responsible for all facets of project accounting.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Project set up and maintenance in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Project budgeting and earnings analysis.
• Preparing client invoices in accordance with contractual terms.
• Monitoring WIP and unbilled balances for unacceptable aging.
• Monitoring AR and unpaid balances for unacceptable aging.
• Reviewing and monitoring cost/performance on a weekly/monthly basis and alert Project Manager to potential problem areas.
• Reviewing vendor and subconsultant project invoices either time and material or lump sum for accuracy prior to Accounts Payable processing.
• Conducting budget project review meetings with Project Managers as needed.
• Assisting Project Managers to successfully execute projects financially.
• Assisting with general financial reporting, analysis and other corporate accounting functions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Six (6) years of full-time experience, with significant exposure to the Construction Management industry.
• Experience working with local and state government clients.
• Familiarity with BST is preferred, but similar industry software experience will be considered.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university.
