Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. This position involves assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and providing excellent customer service in various settings, including fine dining and catering events. Age 16 +

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other culinary tools.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff in daily operations, including catering events.
• Help serve meals to customers, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to fine dining, catering, and food preparation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen duties.
